Our Enrichment Programme is at the heart of the
Varndean Sixth Form College community and
forms an essential part of the learning journey
for all students. When you apply, you will be
asked to select an enrichment activity which will
be added to your timetable upon enrolment.
Enrichment is compulsory for all Year One
students.

your qualification choices, or try something
completely different! Some of the enrichment
courses have a qualification attached and
others are focused on development outside of
structured lessons/assessment aims.
Some examples of enrichment include:

basketball, football, netball, rugby and Duke
of Edinburgh
creative courses, such as ceramics, crochet,
creative writing, DJing, drama, funk band,
stage production and 3D modelling
personal progression, such as our Aspire
Programme, Dance Audition Toolkit,
Employability Skills, Maths Club, and our
MedVetDent Programme
