CTEC Level 2 Award
This course is taught in one year and is equivalent to one
GCSE. Cambridge Technicals in Health and Social Care
offer an introduction into the health and social care sector;
students develop the underpinning knowledge as well as
practical and personal skills required to work in this sector.
Students will learn how to deliver person-centred care and
support to meet the needs of a variety of service-users,
you will learn the importance of effective communication
and individual rights through life events. If you are
interested in working within the health care sector in the
future, then this is a stepping stone to a fulfilling career.
No previous experience is necessary, although an interest in film or
moving image production is.

Assessment is continuous throughout the year. You must be
committed to regular attendance, meeting strict coursework
deadlines and working in groups. You will also be required to travel
independently off-site without supervision for filming moving
image work.
